East/West Sound Modules Misbehaving in Live 8
To preface: I LOVE the East/West (Play) Library, and have ten of the modules. I'm running XP2/Dual-Core PC with 4GB Ram, with the latest update of Live. Here's the deal... IF I start a Live project using just instances of East/West as VSTs, everything goes smoothly. BUT - say I have eight instances ...

Re: OT: Organizing yourself
Bring a number-cruncher by profession, I "manage my life" using Excel ~ I love being able to customize a model to suit my exact needs, and have it all - time management, financial, goal-setting, creative workflow, scheduling, etc. in a format that suits ME. As I head into my mid-fifties (a...

Use it strictly in the studio, but I LOVE mine ~ it's really sped up my Live workflow!

"Harmony" ~ Walter Piston. I've revisited it many times in the past 38 years since I had it as a Theory I textbook in my first year of college.

Re: Do you use a patch bay?
Shit! If I can cancel my order, can I take it? Hi Russ, PM me with a reasonable offer. Let me know if you want the patch leads as well (29 * 0.5M mono, 12 * 0.25M mono, 2 * 0.25M stereo). AARRGGHHH! I have been dispatched! :( Note to self: always ask the forum first, always ask the forum first. Sph...

Re: Do you use a patch bay?
Couldn't live without my patchbay. I like being able to route all signals in my studio easily without having to crawl behind the racks to patch stuff together. +1. My racks are now NEVER disturbed, AND I can run "anything into anything"...love my bays! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...

Help Please! APC scene launch problem!!!
OK, finally got around to installing my APC 40 yesterday...I LOVE it! Here's my problem - when I toggle from scene to scene using the APC, it only plays THE FIRST BAR of all related clips, then loops back to the 1:1:1. If I do the same scene launch using the MOUSE, Live acts normally and plays all r...

Had the pleasure of seeing/photographing Edgar & Co. play last year at Loreley/Germany - they ROCKED live, complete with two musically brilliant hotties onboard!

Re: EastWest is doing the 2 for 1 thing again....
Yeah, I'm trying to decide if I want something maybe more useful, but possibly redundant considering other stuff I have and also maybe not worth the "cost" (Goliath, Stormdrum), and something like the Choral program that sounds amazingly realistic and something I certainly can't recreate ...

Re: EastWest is doing the 2 for 1 thing again....
I'm a total East/West (Play engine products) addict! I have: Symphonic Gold, Goliath, Fab Four, Gypsy, Stormdrum II & Voice of Passion. I WANT Silk, the new Symphonic Choirs (with words), Ra, Ministry of Rock and the Diamonds of the Orient perc set. It's no surprise that major film scoring guys ...
