Re: TERMINATOR Live

Yeah, it's simple. Turn off your MIDI equipment. Sometimes that means turning off your midi-enabled soundcard too. Then turn it all back on again.

Re: Next Live 8.0.5 beta is online: Live 8.0.5b6!

Is there anything in 0.5b6 that addresses the issues people are having with Live 8.0.4 crashing permanently due to bad RAM management when you add new instances of Rompler VSTs or open sessions with Rompler VSTs (like Omnisphere) in them? This issue is critical to my continuing use of the program a...

Re: Another Live 8 Beta: Live 8.0.5b5!

Anyone having problems running the APC40 + MPK25.. read this thread: http://forum.ableton.com/viewtopic.php? ... 2&start=45

You literally need to unplug everything including the soundcard and plugged it all back in but APC40 first... to get it to work properly in Windows XP.

Improvements:

When using the APC40 Controller surface script, we check if the selection MIDI ports are the one from the APC40
Hey Alex, can you clarify how the above point is an improvement? Is that going to disable the use of Bomes MIDI Translator?

So I got the first Akai APC40 in New Zealand...

Haha, some of you may know I went on a mad mission to try and secure an Akai APC40 - ordering one from Nova Musik in the states in hope it'd reach me before New Zealand's official shipment arrives (sometime in July) - but when Akai didn't fulfil their order to Nova, Nova didn't have any choice but t...

Re: Video - Apc40 - Opening the box and plugging in

It takes 12v DC at 2A - negative outside plus inside polarity. the powersupply I am using I don't think it is the one that actually ships with the model.. but it inputs AC100-240v 50/60hz 0.55A , outputs DC12v 2A I imagine you will just need a cheap prong adapter to plug into the power supply. Than...

Re: Video - Apc40 - Opening the box and plugging in

Repost from ALDJ: Firstly, great video. Secondly, I'm so glad that the person lucky enough to get their hands on an APC 40 this early out of all the potential people - it was Tom, someone who has constantly given to the community time and time again. Big up sir! PS. Tom, would you be able to do me a...

Re: Cheapest APC40 online - with international shipping

I preordered mine from Novamusik.com for $369 but that was back in January and am not sure if that price is still available at this date. You have to contact them. Also I am not sure about international shipping. You may want to be at your SF address for delivery of this one. :) Yep, they have only...
