This is probably my top request for Live 10, along with fixed pitch bend resetting and undo after save.
Until then, this Max for Live device does layered MIDI quite nicely: http://isotonikstudios.com/chaos-cultur ... ip-editor/

Re: insert midi clip
Creating MIDI clips in arrangement view is one of the few things I wish was different in Live. I didn't even know there was a right-click option, and that it's only visible without automation. I would love to see this implemented instead: SUG-2297: Double-click to create MIDI clips in arrangement vi...

Re: Why does Ableton keep adding new features that no one wants?
I guess it's because most people really like these features, most people don't visit these forums, and it's important to have things that differentiate you from the rest. It seems like Live is primarily geared towards beatmakers and performers, not people who do composing - thus, we get slicing and ...

No, I get this message: "You do not have the appropriate access rights to modify this Feedback."

Guide/request: Make Centercode links work in the forum
When you want to reference a suggestion from Centercode, and you've gone via the search, the links get curly brackets and don't work. Here's how to fix it, although it would be nice if the Ableton web team could add some code to do it in the forum software. Example https://ableton.centercode.com/pro...

Re: "Delete time" per track / remove silence
Link doesn't work, and no results found searching for "SUG-0281". I did however find these two: SUG-2139: „Delete Time“ for custom selection of tracks, not Timeline only SUG-2144: Cut/Delete time on individual tracks: Shuffle Mode similar to Pro-Tools Remove silence: SUG-0888: Detect Silen...

I can get it down to 1/16384. Click inside the piano roll first so that it's in focus. Try zooming by hitting "+" or change grid resolution with ctrl+1.

Re: Dedicated Piano roll for EACH sample in Drum Rack
I would like to see fold/unfold buttons for each note on a Drum Rack track. Or maybe the velocity field could have a piano roll view. I like how it currently works, but easier pitch editing would be great!

Device on empty space -> Default MIDI track
I just set up a default MIDI track with an EQ and compressor. It works when I do ctrl+shift+T. Neat!
However, when I drop an instrument device onto an empty space, the created MIDI track doesn't contain my default devices. I think it should.

Re: Post your most obscure Ableton Live knowledge
In arrangement view, if you have all tracks selected and choose "show automated parameters only" on one track, that option will be applied to all tracks.
Took me a while to figure out that I had done something - at first I thought it was a bug/feature in 9.6.2.

Re: Option: Pan knobs decrease volume by X dB
Yeah, a utility rack works, but it's only accessible if you enter the track's device view. This brings me to a feature I would like even more: a "send parameter to mixer" option. I only ever use 2 sends and usually 7-8 scenes, so there's a lot of vertical space for more knobs! I'll make a ...
