Re: Concerning High-Quality mode
Does anybody know what sample rate the high-quality mode is oversampling to? 2x? [edit] finally found my answer from Thavius Beck's 'Did you know?' post at Dubspot : When Hi-Quality mode is enabled on the EQ8, the audio being fed into the EQ is oversampled by a factor of 2 (meaning the sample rate o...

Re: EXPORTING multi-sample library from Sampler to EXS24?(help!)
I was just hoping there would be a way to get it done quickly. Like using slice-to-midi then exporting everything as a library. I find EXS24 takes a bit of tinkering, and I really don't want to be tinkering. Especially when it comes to the workshop.
...the answer is the hard way I guess.
Oh well.

EXPORTING multi-sample library from Sampler to EXS24?(help!)
I am anticipating the answer to this one already, but here goes... I'm putting together a workshop for a group of autistic teens in a couple of weeks. The place where I will be doing these workshops has a number of Macs running Logic & Reason, with some Oxygen keyboards. I was thinking of puttin...

Re: Skrillex Bass Wobble
I was gonna suggest adding another synth for sub, it does start to thin out as you add sync and effects.

Re: Skrillex Bass Wobble
http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?nrppbad98fbax9z This is something I put together with Analog. Using the hard sync and formant filters gives some similar vowel like bass screams, and I really like Analog's filter distortion too. I've combined it with Redux and Saturator linked to macros to try...

Re: Granular/graintable synth
Cheers for the heads up, and you do raise good points. I've been meaning to get onto M4L for a while. That's really the solution to a lot of my problems in Live.

Re: Smooth Automation Curves
+1. It's such a simple feature it should already be a part of Live.

Re: Granular/graintable synth
...although, recently I've just been resampling Operator's waves into Sampler and doing granular stuff that way. Makes sense really.

Re: db levels in spectral analysers.
Digital 0 (or +1 however you want to look at it). The point at which sampling can go no further and causes digital distortion. That's the reference point. I understand dB is a relative logarithmic measurement. Really we're talking about dBFS. You make a good point though, the reason they are all sho...

Re: db levels in spectral analysers.
This is the only thing I can think of to help answer your question http://www.independentrecording.net/irn/resources/metergain/index.htm This sort of thing bugs me all the time. So many different bits of software treating the loudness levels differently. Like Live's on audio channels have +6dB of he...

Auto-filter Morphing
It would be amazing if you could include the morphing filter function that Sampler has into the Auto-filter plug-in. And maybe even some filter drive options like Analog has.

Re: Operator's improvements
If you want your drum sound to be consistent why don't you just resample them? I don't think you're ever going to get the white noise to be that consistent otherwise. I think Operator is amazing, the only thing I could wish is morphing filter capability like sampler. Although granted I can, and do, ...

Resizable EQ8 with Spectrum capabilities...
It would be great if I could resize the EQ8 window in the same way that I can with Spectrum. Would be even greater if EQ8 could have the ability to have analysis running in the background of the window in the same way that the Logic EQs have that option. Would be just a little bit more convenient an...

Re: How can you do this 'screaming' sound in Live Suite 8?
It does just sound like a Reese sample/synth, but with a slight pitch decay at the tail end and some filter modulation. Sounds very 'chorusey' if you know what I mean. And there is something happening to the dynamics of the sound so maybe it's been sidechain compressed against that kick, though you ...
