Hey, maybe i can give some hope here with the following info: some feedback regarding Live with lower or equal version than 11.3.13 running on a Mac M1 Pro with critical gui performance problems. I can't remember when it began (i think somewhere since 11.3) but Live got unusable even with one or two...

I was wondering what replaces the -ShowDeviceSlots (the command that you put in the Options.txt file, in Live preferences) in Live 12 ? Since it doesn't work anymore, I would like to know how to keep an overview of the plugins I have in a project?

Bitwig has it but the fact that you can't open native device as a floating window i found it not very usefull ...I hope that if Ableton add this feature they will allow to open their device as a pop up from there...

Yes they are still working, for now at least.

I tried to use an Options.txt as described for Live 9.
But in Live 11 ist seems it seems either the whole options.txt does not exist anymore or at least some lines/orders... are broken.
I´m mostly inmteressted in the LINE
-ShowDeviceSlots=1

I dont know in 11.3 it SEEMS dont work?

I'm not sure if anyone has ever tried to launch Live with such amount of threads.

You can limit the number of threads with Options.txt with adding a line like:
-MaxAudioThreads=32
