I really dig the beat, but am I mistaken in thinking that there is nothing going other than a beat? seems like it's just a beat with some reverb coming in now and then.

maybe it's the subs I'm missing, I'm on lappy speakers

thanks for listening.

yeah the subs sounds alright on my monitors.. probaly because i have the +2db on the low end enabled on them.
Just realised why i was having that problem

and yeah listenin on speakers or monitors.. the kick is filters a bit, and it sounds just the same when listening on lappys.

it's a nice start, now you need to pick the lead characters.

I really enjoyed the groove especially the use of the verb.

Good Foundation Bro. Time to make it a song instead of just a track.

wow, really helpful.

actually I thought the beat was top notch, the track in general isn't lacking much at all it just needs something going on behind the beat like texture/atmosphere/melody/bass, any one or two of those elements would really fill it out. the hardest part about making a good track is the foundation though and you've already got that.

Thats more of less the idea behind minimal techno.

Cool track though. Id say you should try to differentiate the bass and kick drum freqs a bit, as to my ears they share lots of the same freqs and its a bit tricky to make out the bass. Id say try to get a layer of Bass going at around the 180-300hz to get that low mid smack, high pass it at that 180 mark or so. then work the sub bass a bit, seems like you have a sub on the kick and the bass, somehow you have to separate these a bit. possibly dis/or lower the sub on the kick, in favor of the bass, or vice versa.

He asked my thoughts , i gave them, he didnt ask for help. It doesn't mean i hate the guy though just because this track made me want to vomit with boredom.

I've vomited for dozens of reasons, i don't think boredom has ever been one.

I think its a very nice groove that is crying out for an extra synth part or 2.

I like the groove before the tom tom loop comes in....then it seems to go from a nice mnml intro to a housey vibe with no synths, vox, or bass.

My overriding feeling is this trakc needs to decide what it wants to be and it'll develop form there.
