BCR2000 remote scripts help!

Post by iamjungle » Sun Jan 03, 2010 3:53 pm

I just got an BCR2000 and read about the article on CDM

http://createdigitalmusic.com/2009/07/2 ... s-control/

now I can get instant mapping on volumes,send,macron... I'm happy with that.

but if anybody can help me for the further change?

what I want to do is :

1. make second raw encoders into PAN pots(now is SEND band B)
2. make first raw buttom into track ON (don't know what control now)

I search the forum since not much article talk about this...how's every body use their BCcontrol with live ?

im new here, thanx for advice!

remember any remote script is just translating midi messages,

live is expecting specific cc numbers (or note numbers) for specific controlls,
you need to find out which cc's are changing the pan and change your bcr preset with an editor.

some links:

and search the forum for more...

I have downloaded the manual but can't find the section talking about remote scripts...(I'm still in "trail mode" but will definitely buy it...)

how do I know which cc's are changing the pan ?

I'll check the links, thanx anyway...

finally I read all the article about remote scripts I can find,

it's seems the function is limited ,

like I can't make my encoders into PAN POT or buttons into SOLO/MUTE via this way ?

(if i'm wrong plz correct me)

I'll try mackie emu later, thanx

and another for the mackie control emu! you can have different control surfaces on the BCR at the same time combined, on my BCR i use the mackie control and two user remote scripts, i put together a documentation and sysex files, feel free to use or tweak to your own liking:
