Do the Aurex Launchpad apps work W/current version of Live?

Hi.

Yes they do, but unfortunately they do not work with Lion yet.
I think there are still some problems with Lion and Ableton sending and receiving midi data.
Until these bugs are fixed I can only advise you to stick with Snow Leopard (as I did too).

Hey.

Can't give you more info about Lion, because I'm not using that atm.
I'm waiting till the first bugs and problems are solved before I make the transition to Lion.
It's always like that with a new OS, in the first months there will be too many bugs to call it reliable so I just wait until every company gives us a green light. Maybe Ableton HQ can comment about the midi data?

Leopard should be no problem I guess, but hey you can download them for free so why not try out yourself?

ok thanks for the reply sarrova, and btw I know you're tired of hearing this but please tell us you're cooking up versions of these apps for maschine and maschine mikro that would be awesomeeeeee

We experienced the same problem from one of our users on Live 8 + Lion. Looks like incoming MIDI messages via an enabled Track In button adds cumulative CPU load - which definitely doesn't happen with the same configuration on Snow Leopard. http://forum.ableton.com/viewtopic.php? ... 2#p1339312 - just want to mention it in case it can help with workarounds for your users...

Hi thank you for mentioning this!
I'm afraid solving this will be impossible for me because my apps really need the midi Track In's.
Hmm I guess we all have to wait for an update which fixes these prob's.
