This is based on the algorithm from the 6-Rev/Spacemasters reverbs in Reaktor, what to date are some of my favs.

99 bucks and there is a 60 DAY fully functional trial period! Now that's how demos should run.

god dammit why must you tempt me with new toys I can't afford?

Well it's a good thing it's fully functional for 60 days! :P
You could put away about a dollar fifty a day and be just about there by the time the demo runs out...

Still hard to do when I dont have any income whatsoever.

But hard to justify NOT buying it, as I just tried it out and god DAMN it sounds sweet...with lower CPU than my CSR verbs! Like, REALLY sweet.

fuuuuuuuck

I'm trying this out now and it's quite good. I'm especially impressed by the small spaces it can do (but also very lush long tails). And I like that the mix and output gain don't change when you switch presets. Although I like live's reverb, I find it annoying that when you change presets, the mix always changes. Another thing is that you can change the parameters in real time without getting many grainy artifacts as you get with live's. The redline verb does sort of a tape like pitch change when you change the early/late size parameter which is cool.

Plus it's true stereo. And takes the same amount of cpu as live's reverb (about 4% for me).

Which reverbs do you use instead for more natural and lush sounds? and are they free?

Epicverb for lush reverbs, natural ambience or short reverbs, plates; Ariesverb for weird reverbs, and for long, crystal or electronic sounding reverbs.
Also, for free convolution based reverb - LiquidSonics has a beta 'verb being tested at the moment - the non-gpu version works best for me and is very efficient... and then SIR's from noisevault and kvr

edit...
heard many good things about Reaktor's reverbs, and never checked them out... foolish boy.
Altiverb sounds fantastic - spent some time playing with that at someone's studio. Definitely not free though. Very much not free.
Wandering further off topic, anyone have any good plate or spring impulse's - Putney spring, or EMT140 plate would be much appreciated.

Ambience is good too, Leedsquietman is correct. Epicverb's my favourite free verb at the moment though.

I do like it, but decided against buying since it's too similar to my 6-Rev and SpaceMaster 2 Reverb in Reaktor (which are my favorite reverbs). In fact every parameter on the redline reverb is the same as the parameters from spacemaster.

The website says its the same thing, just slightly cpu optimized. I dont have reaktor so the vst will do for me. I'm pretty stoked about it, it sounds lush and I can do quite a bit of different fx and modulations with this thing.

As a DAW noob a few months ago I kept coming across criticisms of Lives reverb (I'm still on 7) and didnt believe it ... after spending a lot of time learning about mixdown I think having a professional reverb like "waves masterverb" is essential. There is a noticeable difference in clarity in the end product IMHO.
Not that Lives reverb isn't good for certain situations (check out the quality settings).

Thanks for the tips fellas.

I've been playing with EpicVerb and it does sound really nice. A bit heavier on the CPU though... but its worth it.

Do you mean Wavearts Masterverb? It's not a bad reverb at all, but not a ton better than Live's.
