Finally bought my first plug-in... uhbik :-)

Post by 8O » Sat May 23, 2009 10:42 pm

After months (years...?) of using demos and free plug-ins, I finally went and purchased my very first plug-ins... the Uhbik bundle from u-he... Mainly for the awesome Runciter filter, but the eq and the ambience are also great... Highly recommended - there's a free demo version you can try out, which just adds vinyl-like crackles every now and again... I was kinda getting used to the crackles, I'll miss them...

Anyway, just wanted to share... :) :)

Indeed, nicey nice. Runciter -> Delay -> Equalizer -> Ambience -> creates completely new, lush sounds out of audio clips...

I just remembered, someone here on the Ableton forum originally recommended the uhbik plugs a long time ago, that was the first time I heard of them... so whoever it was... thanks! :D

Playing with the demos now - really liking Ambience's parameter set. The high and low decay times [nicely labled "Treble - shorter/longer" + "Bass - shorter/longer"] make it easy to tweak in a tasty verb. Good presets over the whole range of plug-ins. I likee!
