Inspired by Auditory Canvas' custom white apc40 paint job. I wanted it to match my white netbook that it is controlling for the right half of my current 2-laptop live rig setup. All in all it came out nice looking. There ended up being some rough patches (I had a battle with the wind while spraying it) but I ended up going back over the whole thing again by hand with a brush-on sign-painting enamel. I also used red paint pen to fill in the divits below all of the knobs. I still need to go back over the black edges with a black paint-pen because in some places paint got under the masking tape I had layed down before spraying.
It looks pretty damn techy though, I think.
Actually with a little bit more blue light action it might start to look kind of like the Gun from the game Portal. hehe
ps. the photo quality is sub par because I don't own a digital cam so I just used my macbook's built in camera.
