The Dublin Workshop

Post by tigali » Mon Oct 19, 2009 10:06 pm

Hey everybody, I've emailed the bodytonic people but got no reply. I'm aware this is free but can anybody tell me if it's possible to book a place/ticket? I really want to go but I'm not in Dublin anymore and I don't fancy the long trip up if I can't be guaranteed entry. If it means I have to buy a ticket for the gig then I will but I'm just trying to find out what the story is.
Cheers.

Hi tigali, The workshop's free so come on down, the gig's absolutely optional :D The workshop will be a pretty full-spectrum talk starting with a few conceptual basics, and building up pretty quickly, but logically, to more advanced stuff - plus of course whatever you'd like to cover, the better the questions the better it is for everyone! :D

We'll hold a place for you. Hope you can make it!

cheers
paddy

Great stuff. I will defo be there. When I make the trip to Dublin these days I always stay the night so I'll definitely be sticking around for the gig, I just really want to make the workshop too.
Looking forward to it.

Hey, a few of us on the Bodytonic forum have been trying to set up a Ableton user group (http://bodytonicmusic.com/forum/28132/t ... t#lastpost) but trying to do that via a forum is a bit awkward, so what we've decided to do is have a chat after the Dublin Workshop. I'll try and get down about half an hour early and I'll have a bright yellow messenger bag so I should be easy enough to spot. You can drop me a PM if you have any questions
