We've tried just about everything under the sun to stay in sync. When we used to use 3 laptops, we actually found it most efficient to beatmatch with our ears and use the nudge function in Ableton, similar to how you would with a CDJ. That stayed in sync very well but just relied on our beatmatching skills. We then tried syncing with MIDI which simply does not work with 3 laptops.

So now we just use one computer with 9 controllers. :)

I see there big fans of izotope trash. It looks really interesting but $199 for a seven year old plug in??

yeah, I caught that, too :wink:

as far as trash goes, it's an excellent plugin still - it's on version 1.14 now, seems like they move slow to make sure their product isn't going to cause everyone headaches (including their own customer service and tech support) *cough, cough*

I spotted this post from the mob today on facebook, thought I'd share this CDM article.

Also, interesting video about their sync issues with ableton a little lower in the article - Boreta starts talking about it at about 2:30 in.
