Please help! Live 7.0 corrupt and wont fix!

At some point after installing the beta version for 8.0 my live version 7.0 is having issues. When attempting to use almost half if not more of my "native" Live plugins I get down below this little notice that says that "The preset cannot be loaded. Its probably broken." I have unistalled both the beta version as well as my 7.0 version and still after reinstalation of 7.0 and the update I'm getting this issue. I know that the unistall did not remove all aspects of live 7.0 or 8.0 for that matter becuase when I open up 7.0 after the reinstallation it scanns my VST folder even though I have not assigned the new install of 7.0 to a folder yet, But the my presets remain intact. Please if anyone has a fix for this I need to know! It would take me like six years to reinstall my OS and all software.

I make a clone of my Hard drives but when I did it last time I thought everything was fine. Now I have two clones with these issues! No going back!

sorry hearing about your trouble. It seems like you accidentally chose to convert your existing Live 7 Library into a Live 8 library after installing the beta the first time - this renders your library useless for Live 7.

I am afraid you have to rebuild your Live 7 Library from scratch:
- create a new (empty) folder somewhere on your hard disk, I would recommend give it a significant name (eg. "Live Library")
- open Live 7´s File/folder preferences, choose your new folder with the browse button next to "Library location"
- choose to 1) create a new Library and to 2) install the factory default content (basics+lessons)
- download and install Livepacks for add-on instruments from here: http://www.ableton.com/livepacks
- you need to install the EIC2 packs again from the DVDs (if you had these installed)
