Been working on a project that comes from Live 7. At first there wasn't anything wrong, i could edit and save fine.
But now Live 8 freezes when i save the project. When i restart Live it can restore from the Undo history but this means i can't work on any other project until i'm able to save the current one!
Reading a few threads here i think the problem that i can't save may have started after a small looped part started to act up. I was recording a small MIDI part and Live 8 went to +300 CPU. Eventually, because it kept doing the CPU spike and staying there, i deleted the part and rebooted the pc and started recording a new part.
Suddenly can't save my project with 8.0.1. Save = Freeze!

On the above note; Is there a way i can backup the data Live uses after a crash?
That way i can move that data somewhere else for now. Later when i want to load the crashed project again i put it back in place and Live 8 will ask me to recover my work again. That should be possible right??
