MASSIVE HUGE Virus TI problems with Live 8... HELP!!!

Live 8 and my Virus TI Snow aren't getting along at all at the moment.

- The Virus TI Snow plugin GUI constantly displays a Sync Error, and playback is quite erratic and out of sync. This happens both with the latest firmware (3.0.3) and older firmwares (I rolled all the way back to 2.75 and it's exactly the same there). Also, I should add that this behaviour happens both in full projects with lots of other plugins & synths, and also in fresh projects where the Virus TI Snow plugin is the only thing in there. It's happening with 8.0.4 and 8.0.5b3, I haven't tried older versions of Live 8 as yet.

- There are totally no issues in 7.0.14 - playback timing is tight, and the plugin GUI shows no sync errors.

What's going on here? The loss of productivity is killing me especially since I've been working on stuff in Live 8 for so long and I can't open these projects in Live 7 to keep working on them as the projects aren't backwards-compatible...

For some reason the problems disappear with 8.0.3, so it appears to be something to do with the 8.0.4 update specifically... At least I've got these projects working again but I just wanted to bring this to the Abes' attention... something is drastically up with 8.0.4 when it comes to Virus TIs!

i dont have any problems with TI2 desktop on 8.0.4
i do have the newest TI software 3.00.3

i had some problems before that version but after installing AND reset ( hold TAP tempo while power on ) it was OK

I also don't have any problems with my VirusTI since Access Music released TIOS 3.0.3.00. Between TIOS 2.7.5 and TIOS 3.0.3.00 I often got these sync issues too...

you may need to check your preferences. I had the same problem until I set the TI to ASIO, and made it act as the sound card. there should be a tutorial in the VST interface down on the bottom right corner (it'll be a little ? mark > tutorial > ableton live/virus ti)
