Kleine,
Thanks! wasn't sure if I got that right!
Too bad about not being able to use M4L and Pluggo simultaneously,
not surprising though considering it would be like running Max twice.
If you don't mind I have another question I would be thrilled to know the answer to:
What Pluggos are included in M4L? I haven't seen a list as of yet,
are more being ported or am I not looking in the right places on the web?

Re: "Old" pluggo plug-ins incompatible with Live 8.1
OK seeing that most of the Pluggo plug ins made it into M4L makes the whole thing a little more palatable.
They said 'some' at first. Laverne is a basic synth compared to most, but I found uses for it all the time, and Feedback Network, Chorus x2, Harmonic Filter are all great.
Thanks, really, that helps maintain perspective.

Re: "Old" pluggo plug-ins incompatible with Live 8.1
Here is a way that one can at least temporarily run Pluggo-based plugins in Live 8.1 (though at the expense of not being able to concurrently use an MFL device). This is for Mac systems only, but I'm sure there is a similar set of instructions for Windows.
Ctrl-click the Live application, and select Show Package Contents. Within the resulting window that opens, go into the Contents folder, and from there, temporarily move the Frameworks folder and its contents somewhere else (I put it on the Desktop). Now you should be able to start Live, and use your Pluggo-based plugins (though MFL will not work).
To restore MFL functionality, just put the Frameworks folder and its contents back where they were originally.
Crappy workaround, but better than nothing for the time being...

Re: "Old" pluggo plug-ins incompatible with Live 8.1
Good to know anyway. At the moment I'm having to use 8.09 to use ColorTone (which due for a native conversion in the coming weeks anyway but still a pain anyway).dnigrin wrote:Here is a way that one can at least temporarily run Pluggo-based plugins in Live 8.1 (though at the expense of not being able to concurrently use an MFL device).
