BUG REPORT: LIVE Problem with REX-FILES in SET !!!

very annoying for a released version!!!


can't open sets with a .rx2 rex-file in them. even importing a single clip out of this set from the browser chrashes live. Took me some time to figure out why ...

just delete the rex files with live 8.0.9 ... now you can open the set in 8.1 - hope bugfix is released soon


I wonder how ableton do the testing of new versions ...


maybe they want to hire me as a payed tester?

Just download Live 8.1 again and reinstall, there was a bug with an earlier release of 8.1 which is fixed now.

There are some threads about the same problem and everybody who downloaded Live 8.1 again has no more problems.

thanks for the info ... one more reason why i think this sucks ... why can't they make an announcement?

it's not quiet obvious that a 8.1 and a 8.1 is different in any kind


i know it's not good to release a 8.1.1 just a few days after release but at least it would have been noticed by me cause i checked for updates!! it would have saved me some time

is ableton live only a toy? - my intention is to use it as a professional - unfortunately that's not possible right now
