[6181] L8.1 and Acid Pauli set = 100% CPU usage

There is something seriously wrong with 8.1 + the Acid-Pauli liveset. Loading it up, the Mac CPU monitor goes up over 100% for the Live app (while Live's own CPU monitor stays low). Live takes 3 seconds or so to respond to each mouse click. I mucked around a bit and then it went away after a minute or so... but something seriously not right here...

MBP / 10.6.2 / L8.1 / MOTU Ultralite

If I just double-click on the first track's track name "1 Kit-White" so that the frozen device is displayed in the detail view, then the CPU load goes down to normal. All of this crazy behaviour while the track is not even playing yet. Something seriously buggy here...

100% reproducible, btw...

Just downloaded a fresh 8.1 and tried it again (just to ensure it wasn't a bug with the very early releases of 8.1) - no change - same bug.

Deleted preferences.cfg & repaired permissions -> no change, same bug.

Looks to be fixed in L8.1.1b1... That was fast!
