[mma] T-Racks 3 crashes Live when looping in arrangment view

Hi Guys,

I am not sure if this is IK Multimedia or your issue. All the individual plugins from T-Racks 3 crash Live 8 when using the loop function or jumping to an earlier point on the timeline using the mouse when in the arrangement view. This consistently happens. After a few times looping Live will become unresponsive and the audio distorted in a one track song. In a complex project or using multiple instances for T-Racks the computer becomes completely unresponsive.

I am running Live 8.1, T-Racks 8.1.1 on a Dell XPS Gen3, 3.4GHz P4 with Win XP SP3 and 3GB RAM

from time to time i see this as well. i dont have IK Multimedia plugs, so its also a ableton bug.

I should do that as well because i have random crashes with IK T-Racks plugins too.

Same here when i worked with tracks3. I doesn't crash all the time, but often enough to disturb me and stop using it. Also, if an arrangement crashes and you choose to have Live restore it when you restart, that arrangement will now be 'contaminated' and continue to keep crashing with tracks3.

Not using it anymore so i can't send in crash/log files sorry.

Live 8 throughout most versions up to 8.0.9 tested and confirmed crash using t-racks3.
win xp sp2.

the t-racks3 single plugins also crashed my smoothly running live 8 (on winxp). It was not possible to find any pattern, when and why they crashed it. Live just got unstable as soon as they were used in a project.

I stopped using them for some time but now they seem to be working better with the 8.1.1 release. Still not sure if a problem in Live really got fixed or if I was just lucky. I am still hesitating to use them in important projects...

IKM did not get back to me after I wrote them about the issue. Also no updates have been released by IKM ever since.

I have been dealing with ikmultimedia ableton and apple for months because I use sonik synth 2 by ik and even if i dont use it it will crash my computer. Finally today an ableton support guy told me they know there r issues with IK but no resolutions yet..this is crazy

I'm working with T-Racks 3 again in Live 8.1.1. The crashes are also back again. I'm very positive that the crashes happen more/sooner when loops are small. I only work in Arrangement mode so i can only speak for that. I wish either IKM or Ableton said something about this bug officially.

OMG, here it is. The answer I have been looking for...3 months. I took my PC apart, RMAed parts, upgraded parts, nothing helped.

T-Racks....this has been driving me crazy. I would loop and my engine would melt down like 10 minutes later (especially on shorter loops). No wonder, I use 670 and PQ plug-ins a lot.

We need resolution for this ASAP, as T-Racks serves as an amazing, cost-effective emulation of these vintage tools.
