I am using a Firestudio Project and I am trying to sync it to a StudioLive 1642 at 48000. In Ableton Live I used to be able to control the sample rate. The sample rate is set to 44100 and is grayed out. Any ideas? I have tired setting the rate in Universal Control but Ableton keeps changing it back to 44100, and I am unable to change it. I have also tried the Presonus beta drivers and current stable drivers with no luck and I changed the firewire card to the legacy driver with no success either. I need it to be 48000 to sync to my StudioLive or I get jitter errors and garbage(Usually, a dull roar from all channels from the FireStudio Project) if it is not synced. Any ideas will be appreciated.

Unable to change sample rate in Windows 7 64-bit
Re: Unable to change sample rate in Windows 7 64-bit
Bump! Has anyone had this issue in Windows 7?
Re: Unable to change sample rate in Windows 7 64-bit [Solved]
I have figured it out! It has to do with Windows Sound.
Just right-click the speaker icon on the Taskbar -> Click Playback devices -> Right-click Speakers -> Click Properties -> Click Advanced Tab -> And select the sample rate you would like.
Its very odd that Windows is taking control when Ableton is launched. Must be a Windows 7 thing. It worked with Vista 64-bit.
