Requests for Utility device:
1. gain go to -inf
2. mute button not cause pops while audio is sustained through it
It would be nice to use the Utility device as a fader.
Work around: use Effect Rack's Chain Volume, or Filter Delay's Dry Output which does go to -inf.
The mute button pops the audio when signal is present.
Work around: use Effect Rack's "speaker button", or engage MUTE, toggle Utility device's activator.
Limiter:
0ms look ahead option
I understand this may not allow the limiter to work perfectly, but I would like that option so as not to introduce the 1.5 ms latency when using it live.
I use it live with in-ear monitors, so every bit of latency saved is helpful (very small amounts of latency are noticeable when singing with in-ears). Ableton's devices usually are best for practically no latency compared to 3rd party plugs.
Work around: ??? (I tried using the Compressor, set to 0ms lookahead, but even at inf ratio, Peak, FF1, it does not brick wall, also it seems there is more possibility of distortion sooner compared to a limiter)
Thanks very much!
