Merge EQ and Spectrum

Post by greg0ryk » Sun Oct 19, 2008 7:43 pm

Logic does this in a very effective manner, with a button "Analyze" that will show the frequency overlapped over the EQ curve. Seems like it wouldn't be too difficult to incorporate.
Thanks.

+1 Yea I've suggested this few times already, I wish they would do it. It would help alot, since you could _see_ where it needs to be changed. Well, hearing is more important of course, but...

Just join them in a rack and save as a preset.

But the point of merging them is to see the spectrum and kinda "modify" it by drawing the eq on top of it.

would be horrible. analyzers are useful, when used correctly. detrimental when used all the time.

spec analyzers = less is more

abe's has a, "to do list," like major, and there are plenty of plugs to buy with built in eq/analyzer....

voxengo, blue cat, apulsoft, electri q............

the list goes on n on.....
too many lasers...
