While waiting for my license transfer I found these tutorials, which are not M4L-specific but really helpful and inspiring:

These videos are also very helpful, they are for Pure Data which is a little bit different from Max but still very powerful and really help you to get started...
There are beginner tutorials as well as some wicked stuff such as using your webcam and the ReacTIVision icons to control stuff. Go check them out!
