M4L signal routing?
M4L signal routing?
hello,
I don't currently own M4L, but if it can do this, I'm sold!
I'd like to find a way to change the "Audio From" and "Audio To" of any track w/ out using a mouse.
ideally, I'd like to have this function mapped to a button that would toggle between two or more chosen paths.
has anyone done this successfully?
thanks in advance for any help,
-m

Re: M4L signal routing?
thanks for the reply D!
hope it is possible; been researching M4L quite a bit and haven't found anything indicating it is.
my concern is that changing the "Audio To/From" is only accessible via mouse movements.
thanks again,
m

Re: M4L signal routing?
It's definitely possible. Check the current_input_routing function of the Track in the Live object model.
Re: M4L signal routing?

currently trying to wrap my head around
"Creating Devices that use the Live API".
it definitely looks possible though!
I'll keep reading...

Re: M4L signal routing?
That is indeed wack. They should contain each input in quotes.

seems simple enough...there's gotta be a way!
really appreciate anyone's help, thank you!

p.s. while M4L may not be my forte, if anyone should need music theory help, ask away!
