Does anybody know how to eliminate audio dropouts, which occasionally occur during playing a live set for 1hr-2hrs?
CPU never exceeds 10%, and a limiter is put on the master channel, to tame any rogue peaks..
Audio Drop Out During Live Sets?
Hi, if it's only happening after a long time, is it possible that either your computer is overheating, or that bass vibrations are affecting the hard-drive? There was a recent thread on the latter problem recently, in the General forum I think... Maybe it's something completely different, but that just rang a bell for me when I read your post.

Hi, found the thread I was thinking about: http://forum.ableton.com/viewtopic.php?t=103948 - but he mentions that he had the Hard Disk Overload light come on. So maybe different cause after all?

does it drop out and come back in? or does it freeze the set causing you to reopen it?
i would first inspect all the connection ends for your hardware. My set froze a couple of times in the middle of a set and it took me three weeks to figure out it was a firewire cable going out. I think the end had gotten stepped on. But after replacing the cable I have had no issues.
