A guide on how to set up reverb
If you need simple but detailed instructions on how to use reverb in your music, Matthew Weiss is the man. I have written about the guy's wisdom here:

That's the stuff I would have liked to know ten years earlier. Would have made my job a lot easier.

Re: A guide on how to set up reverb
the most useful post in a long time for me. breaks it down simple and sensemaking. just dont know how to translate his advice in terms of room size to the live reverb.
"Size will effect the tightness of the sound. This is more creative, but here's a good starting place: Divide your time by ten, and round to the closest integer. That's a good number of ft for your room size. Adjust up or down according to tone and texture. Too large will get a spacey characterless sound. Too tight will sound almost more like a echo/delay."

Re: A guide on how to set up reverb
The size parameter in percent doesn't help much. Also I'm not sure how Live's size knob affects the predelay and the other parameters too. I'm used to working with a Lexicon reverb and this unit changes the reverb time when I change size, just like it would happen in a real room. I guess you have to stick to your ears with this one if no one else has a good explanation for us.

here´s a tip for you to check if your reverb fits in rhythmically: On the tracks output, choose "sends only" and turn your reverb all the way up.

Excellent. Time to break out (or google) that bpm to milliseconds calculator.
