MIDI problem can't hear

I can't hear any sound when I drop in a MIDI device preset but i can hear audio if I drop in a audio preset.

When drop a MIDI Instrument on the MIDI column and hit the green arrow I can't hear any audio but I can if I put a clip in the Audio column.

I have entered notes, the headphone icon is hilighted but nothing, I can't see the notes. I don't have a MIDI key board so I'm using my Mac key board.

you're a bit too much "off the road" mate, read your manual first

even after a private pms discussions, 3-4 posts in this thread, I still don't understand you!

No offense, but you don't seem to understand the way Live works, Midi devices, presets, clips, and so on...


or elaborate a bit more, i.e :

1) I created a midi track
2) I inserted a sampler device
3) I loaded a sampler preset called "thing"
4) I created a midi clip, with notes inside

and so on...

BTW, if you "don't see the notes", but you entered some, you got a big problem... and none of us will be able to help
