I need some help, complex setup...

Post by mike_o » Tue Sep 24, 2013 4:24 am

OK, here is the situation, I am using Live 8 and some dummy clips that trigger certain events in my setup.

The dummy clips are all the way at the very bottom of my session view on a separate channel from my audio clips, the are directly midi mapped, no control scripts or anything, just directly midi mapped in those session view slots.

Whenever I trigger a dummy clip the entire session view jumps to the bottom to show the dummy clips and then I have to manually scroll all the way back to the top to the scenes that are actually playing.

Is there a way (without max 4 live) to trigger these dummy clips that are off the screen without the whole session view screen auto scrolling/jumping all the way down to show them?

Uhhh,
Uhhh, right click on any clip in the session view, and uncheck the "select on launch" menu entry.

I don't know, mate, but this disables the whole thing in the preferences. Not only for the selected clips. I've been asking this since v4.
So, without m4l, no idea.

Oh, I know that it's a global setting, but it's the only answer to his question that doesn't involve m4l.
