Midi Step Recording Bug: Wont record F maj or Min?

Post by chrisedmo » Sat Jan 24, 2009 6:08 pm

Hi guys,

I was just messing around with the step recorder and for some reason F major and F Minor wont record, i can hold other chords down and use the step record feature okay, but with F maj and Min - the insert marker does not move...

I have opened up two sets and created a new one and I can repeat this each time.

Im using Mac OSX 10.5.6 on a macbook 1.83ghz C2D and using the keypad as the keyboard... I will try this with a midi keyboard.
Macbook 1.83ghz. Ableton Live 8 :-). Guitars and keys and retro sh*t.

both F major and F minor chords across my 61 keys are recorded for me...

do you have those keys assigned to live functions by chance?

this is most likely because of how the key scanning works on your computer keyboard - hold down a number of keys, and some won't register.

Midi is fully polyphonic, on the other hand ;)
