Maschine Template For Ableton Drum Racks and Instruments!! (

If you want to use Maschine as a normal Midi Controller to fire Drum Racks and use Ableton Instruments, download the following file:

Ableton_Maschine.zip - 0.00MB

1-Load the 'Ableton Midi File' in to Maschine trough the Controller Editor
2-Copy the 'User Configuration' file in to the User Configurations Folder in Ableton Live
3-Start Ableton Live and Choose: Preferences...Midi Sync...Select:Machine DrumRack from the Drop down Menu and choose 'Maschine Controller' Input and Output - Activate The Remote Midi Port

Now you can control Drum Racks and Ableton Instruments !
Groups trigger notes cromatically and the 8 knobs are instantenely mapped to the 8 ableton macros.

i don't like it at all,I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

so many improvements,you can edit individual slices,zoom and scroll waveforms(all done from the HARDWARE now),sp1200 mode rocks,macro controls.........the list goes on.......

for me,it now feels like 98% hardware goodness,they totally nailed it!best puchase i made so far.and together with Kore 2 inside Live,it's the absolute s@#t for me.........

the only thing it needs now is timestretch(not to be confused with "grain freeze",which also was part of the 1.5 update.that is like a really good beatrepeat fx)

i discovered now the fragmented template. It's really good because it maps knobs also to volumes, sends, etc. But i had to change the pads midi channel (from 1 to 2) to make them work in ableton. I think the first channel is used from the script to trigger clips with the automap.

Actually, the fragmented script uses the pads for Live's Drum Rack. Group A's pads are always instantly mapped to whichever 16 pads are in focus in drum rack. The other Groups go chromatically up always with C on pad one.

So I had trouble finding the User Configurations folder because I'm using Win Vista but I found it here:
On Windows Vista/Windows 7, my Live preferences live in =
[Windows boot drive] > Users > RawTheory > AppData > Roaming > Ableton > Live 8.04 [or your version] > Preferences > User Remote Scripts
(Yours may be in Local rather than Roaming, depending on whether you installed Live for all users. On XP, the path is similar, but in your boot drive’s Documents and Settings.)

The problem is once I've transfered and replaced the user config file with the one found on this thread, it automatically reverts back to its previous file when I boot up Live! I can't freakin believe what I'm seeing but it reverts right before my eyes. Can anyone help me find a solution to this?!?!

@ratherTheory : you should not overwrite the default file, but put your own one into a folder in the User Remote Scripts one.

I have to reactivate this thread because i still can find any answer anywhere. I try to use the Fragmented script, but if i can fire the transport (play / stop), i can't control the macros nor the pads of the Drum Rack...

Could someone help me ?

Fragmented's script is pretty good. The Mackie Control template works well too (you get plugin parameter automapping in Live). Another good one is the Ableschine Lite template.
