Adjustable Heights and Widths in Device Chain View

Post by crumhorn » Sun Oct 24, 2010 10:24 am

Please make the height of the device chain view adjustable

Any racks in the chain should grow to show more inner chains, pads, etc. Rack macro controls could change from 2 rows of 4 to 4 rows of 2, other devices with fixed size interfaces could flow in left to right top to bottom order to save on horizontal scrolling.

The amount of horizontal scrolling involved when doing sound design makes it feel like hard work and spoils the creative process.

ALSO, would be very nice to be able to move the device chain & clip views to the top of the screen. It just feels wrong poking around in a tiny window at the bottom of the screen.

And another thing

drum racks - would be good if the width of the drum pad mapping area was adjustable.

(Allow me to plug my guitar scale visualiser thingy - www.fretlearner.com)
