Re: Reason 9.5 announces VST support
I always enjoyed Reason for some *ahem* reason I liked the cables/rack paradigm but the lackluster sequencer and no plug in support meant I ended up moving to Live around version 4 or 5. But this news not only perked my ears up but I bit and upgraded my license. I don't regret it at all. I really wa...

Re: Snapshots maschine 2.6 live equivalent
I have been wanting something like this for Push since I first saw the Maschine update, Kapture being the first device to come to mind, unfortunately it's not close enough. If I remember correctly doesn't clyphx use clips to perform most of it's functions? via labeling I think? I personally would pr...

Re: Studio One
I think it's a great, forwardish thinking DAW.. but not having undo in the mixer is a deal breaker for me.
Maybe I'm spoiled, I dunno. But I like it when I press cmd/ctrl + 'z' and it undoes whatever I just did, regardless of what or where.

Re: FAB FILTER TIMELESS experts: question about lfos
sure you can, you just have to be careful with your routing. if you have several xlfo's all modulating each other that's fine as long as it doesn't create a loop. for example, with modulating frequencies: lfo 1 can modulate lfo 2, and lfo 2 can modulate lfo 3, but then connect lfo 3 to lfo 1 and you...

Re: FAB FILTER TIMELESS experts: question about lfos
the red warning triangle means that a routing is set up that can't be calculated, basically an infinite loop.
and indeed, the warning means it has now effect on the sound.

Re: Bitwig release date march 26
Not really... All you need to do is open the patch and select and copy/paste for more mod. destinations this is actually really cool, but I don't think the issue is the amount of destinations so much as that the destination becoming 'greyed out' once it's mapped. in bitwig the destination remains e...

Re: Maschine 2 + Komplete 9 offer - buy now/worth it?
I'd be all over this if i didn't already own both products. maschine has been a great tool for creativity and the integration with komplete is unreal.
great bundle this is.

Re: LuSH-101 + Live 9 question
Isn't this a limitation of the demo mode?
it says right on the GUI, "total recall is disabled - plugin doesn't restore settings from saved projects"

Re: Bitwig release date march 26
I don’t really get this cross grade discount expectation for owning software made by a competitor. Does any other developer do that? Yeah it's fairly common. Who's done it? I've never seen it offered before... Presonus does it too, owning Live got me $100 off Studio One. That said, I don't feel it ...

Re: M4L Midi LFO doesn't store settings.
Sorry to resurrect a dead thread.. No worries. I can't post a pic but it's pretty straightforward. In Max, open the Rate knob Inspector, At the top of the Inspector you'll see a few tabs, clcik the tab labeled "All." Scroll down until you see Parameter settings, there you'll see "Par...

Re: Mr. Wong's Maschine usage Qs (not a comparison thread)
hey look at that, I helped! to help accelerate the learning curve I've been minimizing the app and forcing myself to strictly use the hw. it's way too much work realistically, but so far I've had maschine for about 2 weeks and I'm a big, big fan. I've done more in these 2 weeks than I did in t...

1.while in the browser, the prev and next button will load instead of preview. this is as close to hotswap as I've seen. 2.while in pad mode, there is a 'fixed vel' soft button. press this and adjust the matching knob to the velocity you want. this is only while playing or sequencing I believe. sele...

I just a did shift+cmd+s to save, and then renamed it.
I tend to save copies incase I mess something up.

Re: M4L Midi LFO doesn't store settings.
I found it was only the synced rate that isn't visible to automate. I don't know much too much about working in M4L really, but you can open the patcher for Midi Lfo, find the sync rate knob and open it's inspector. then check the box for "automated and stored" After doing this and resavin...
