bingo, it is because of Session View that I've never even considered "touching" another DAW, for me there is no reason to switch at all to any other program available. I wouldn't even know what to do

you're referring to the NOTE OUT correct? I can't chage it at all.

This is a pic of a rack I did not create. You can see the person was able to change the midi Out note from the default C3 to something else. Can someone explain how that was done? I don't remember were I downloaded the rack from. It's a drumrack to trigger drumazon, but he/she didn't include the rim...

this is why i think live isnt the best DJing tool, it takes SO MUCH preparation! can't you open up drum racks by expanding the Group? Isn't it possible to then add a groove to just the hi-hats track?
I'm not at home to check this out...I do believe you have be at Live 8.1 or higher.

cut up an old mouse pad to make some "rubber feet", use rubber cement to adhere these feet to the laptop. Rubber cement is safe, won't damage anything, but strong enough to keep your handmade deep on the laptop for a long time if not for good.

ummm anyone able to explain
why my cursor won't change into the speaker so I can start hearing the clip from any point within the clip, all the sudden that's gone. The clips are warped, anything else to look for? the magnify is available still, but the speaker no.
