I'm thinking of putting all my favorite templates from various programs (Logic, Live ...

Assuming you have newer version of Live
Set the In to 1, then move the Loop Start to 9 with length 16. You have to enable Warp to be able to Loop. (If you don't actually want to warp, just set the clip's bpm to the project's bpm and use the re-pitch warp method.)

Hitting the transport stop does it
At least from my experimentation, hitting the transport stop (top of screen) sends out an all notes off for every channel that's doing MIDI. Maybe I'm just lucky.

FInally figured it out...
I used the wrong input-fields (right next to the master track) and didn't see the lower input field because my huskervu covered them...
Can you elaborate on what you mean here please? Where are the other input fields. I'm having exactly the same problem and I used to have it working in Live 4 ...

Auto Pan
Auto Pan: Amount 100%, Phase 0%, set rate directly, use on a pad loop.
I seriously doubt that even 1% of the effects listed on that web page are possibly real. Improving eyesight, etc? Sounds like chiropractors to me (they can cure everything by simply adjusting your spine). Plus many of the listed ...

Three more for my wishlist
1. Simpler should have an indicator that shows where in the sample the playhead is. As it is now, there's no indication of where in the sample Simpler is playing, which makes it hard to adjust things for us visually-oriented folks.

Some people... other people
Some of my friends have zero problems with the 410.
I, on the other hand, have had it crash my desktop and laptop when using it. Finally had to give up on it.

Follow Action that trigger scene
Allow an option for each follow action to trigger the scene containing the clip that is followed-onto. That way, you could use MIDI clips or blank clips to trigger sequences of scenes.

I'm in Northern VA
Something of a new Live user, though I've used Logic, etc, for quite some time. Mostly do video, audio for video, and composition for video, though my recent (re)introduction to Live is for use in theatre to do sound effeects (and maybe eventually MIDI-triggered other stuff, too).

Thanks for the good response!
2a. Allow a 0.0.0 follow action time. This causes the follow action to trigger when the clip stops. So you can have one clip play from IN to OUT and then trigger something else.

Sound effects usage for a play...
We just had our annual Christmas play and I was the sound effects man. I chose to use Live 3 (have since upgraded to Live 5) and it worked out very well, though there were several features I wish I had. I know that Live is music-oriented, so make these suggestions knowing that Ableton will have to ...
