I have the 2.16ghz macbook with 2gigs of ram. It absolutely smokes. I can't imagine how great it will be when live 6 comes out and takes advantage of the other half of the processor. This is the best laptop i have ever owned.

Uhh guys, you are sitting in front of a computer, it is the world's most powerful egg timer ever! Funny story though, I could see myself doing the same if I wasn't married. Glad you didn't burn the house down.

Yes, i think so. It fixes the cooling engine, and a host of other issues I believe, I might be wrong though. My 'book pro is running like a champ with it installed.

I actually did sell my powerbook to buy the macbook. I am completely happy with my 2.16ghz 15". I have upgraded the ram to 2gigs and the thing is absolutely incredible. Live and Logic Express run flawless, I can't wait to see how Live 6 runs on 2 processors. I say do it, but if a new revision c...

I think the built-in audio will be fine. You should be good to go with the new mini, it's similar as a mackbook under the hood, only without the screen. very powerful.

I like it. I would love to see you guys if you come out my way. Are you planning on playing anywhere else beside LA? I would like to buy the album, let me know where to go, your website is not too intuitive.

Pink Floyd : Dark Side of the moon
AC/DC: Back in Black
Michael Jackson: Thriller

I'm not advocating them, but I think these three are at least in the top 6 though, not sure if the top 3.

It's not the tool, it's the engineer. I've used both, and like many others here have said, pro tools has some features that live doesn't. I've tracked a couple of sessions with Live, as you can't run pro tools on a macbook pro, and you can do a great job in Live. Personally, my favorite for tracking...
