cheers for the reply but they dont seem to be there in my own projects,thats why i thought if might have been saved in the downloaded files preferences.
any thoughts?a bug maybe?

i recently updated to live 8.1.1 but noticed something different when i downloaded one of the projects
from the website.

when i opened the project it had DB meters on each channel and a peak signal level counter which is quiet a nice addition.
