a studio and worked from there, alot fo spoken word/hip hop genre songs. I have a
UX2 Line 6 Interface and an Audio Technica 2020 microphone. permanently polarized
cardoid condenser. I have Gearbox and Ableton Live sir.

Hello. I'm wondering if anyone can give me a tutorial on mastering my vocals
on ableton live 7.0- Like the presets and all that. and how to mix it down.
I'm very new to ableton live. so all i know how to do is record my vocals but
I can not master them at all.

it! I have already converted it too A wav
file and tried to drag it in, but it came
As a "restricted sign" with A circle & A
line through it ...

Really? Because All I can find in "Latest Versions" Is
Live 4.1.4, is that Line 6 Edition?

I got ableton live 4.1.5 line 6 edition not this
christmas, but last christmas. And since then
I've moved three times & got new computers
And with my last computer abl. would not load
onto the computer (virus?) and it totally got
misplaced after that, I still have my serial

And it showed A circle w/ a slash through it,like restricting it?

I'm trying to drag in WMA. files into Live.

It seems it wont let me though,It just does A "ding" sound??..

What I'm trying to do Is what you do in other multy-tracc programs.


Drag the wma into the program,And then your able to record over it..in A different tracc

I want the instrumental to go into ableton..

because when I'm recording,I have to put the mic gain on high & record my vocals as the instrumentals playing,It sounds.........weird
