Re: Do you think Launchpad could do isometric keyboard layout?
Search the MaxforLive site and find a device called FretPad. This turns User 1 Mode into Isometric Keyboard Layout.
No LED feedback with FretPad, however works a treat.
I am in the middle of creating it in User 2 Mode with LED feedback to indicate a variety of different musical scales.

Re: Push Chord Patterns
Another option is to use FretPad http://www.maxforlive.com/library/device/382/fretpad as a Max Midi device. This turns the LaunchPad into Isomorphic keyboard layout.

Re: Dj'ing with Ableton....
ClyphX Remote Scripts will allow you to use dummy clips that control the selected track's loop details. You can turn on loops / set loop lengths / change the position of the loop etc on the fly. I don't have Max4Live so I don't have access to all the cool stuff, however I generally find I can use du...

Re: is posible to control tempo with a dummy clip?
Yes it is, and you don't need Max4Live. ClyphX is an amazing script for Ableton. Allows you to name your clips in specific ways to control aspects of Live. For your example you could have dummy clips set up that can increase or decrease your BPM by certain increments. OR could use a dummy clip to se...

Re: Mr. Bill - 10 Hour Tutorial Mega Series!
I think $10 a month subscription based services for musicians is a fair deal if you want to delve in deep for their work. Especially from someone who has already posted plenty of live packs / video tutorials in an open source format. Wanting to make a living out of music is still viable right these ...

Re: Rishi's Launchpad Presets
Wow .... This setup looks incredible.
I have just been looking into Bomes in the last few days and have been looking to create a much more simplistic form of what you did. This is so impressive that I feel like I don't know where to start now.
Thanks for the inspiration.

Re: Setting Track Delay Compensation correctly.
I have tried fiddling around with the manual delay compensation. One question about that..... Is it better to use positive or negative values ? Or does this not matter. Example. Let's say you have 3 tracks and 1 is 60 ms late. Is it better to delay the late channel with a value of -60 ms, or is it b...

Setting Track Delay Compensation correctly.
I have a live set that I am having difficulties with setting the track delay compensation correctly. This issue occurs twice in my set, so any info/links/tips on how to correct this would be fantastic. 1) Tracks are running perfectly synced, however when I send to SEND B the tracks are out of time. ...

Re: PURELY DJing - Tips, Tricks, Tutorials
What I love about your setup Will is your design to apply effects only on the freq range that you want it to. Hence, keeping your bass and kick without any effects. This has been a brilliant edition to my Live DJ setup. I have mapped my freq splitters to USER 2 on the Novation Launchpad, with the du...
