Re: Offbeat 1/4 note Repeat ?
Actually my idea would be more a midi filter/gate that is only open on the 1/4 off beat and use 8th note repeat on push. With a delay you lose the feel with pressure vs.velocity, at least I don't like this feeeling. Same with just recording on the onbeat and move it later. Doesn't work well because ...

p2: Accent/Repeat flashing when on - who is annoyed by this?
As you certainly know, the accent (for full velocity) and repeat button (and some more..) on push2 are flashing when they are activated. I have my push2 in front of my computer screen. When I have the accent activated - which happens a lot - this buttons flashes constantly. This flashing constantly ...

Re: Buttons vs pads
After using push another day I'm afraid to say that the bad feeling buttons seems to really affect my satisfaction with this product. It's not so bad that I would return it, but not far away from that point. Otherwise I really love Push! Also the feeling from button to button is a bit different. For...

Re: Buttons vs pads
I'd be very interested to hear the reason why they made this decision. I guess if you're standing while operating Push, the buttons are easier to press, but I don't think that's really any good argument; if they really wanted to separate the pads from the buttons, they should have used the type of ...

Re: Buttons vs pads
I will take this moment to add that I haven't touched Live nor Push in about 9 days (I was away from home), which is highly abnormal for me, being a daily abuser. I just fired Live up again without Push - it was a sickening experience with much frustration, but I had to know once again how the past...

Re: Buttons vs pads
true. I find them also too hard to press. edit: I find this really a pity on keys like shift, select, rec. I find pressing them on the side easier (so not in the mid centred). But it feels very "wobbly". Not a nice feeling. Is the the same for you? Hope it's not degrading the buttons?! :oo...

not having push yet - nudge notes - on 1.1 -> muted?
Afaik you can nudge a whole note line (say C1). I nudge a lot to get certain a offsets between the snare and hihat for example. I'm a bit worried how push will behave and the start/end from a midi clip with nudging. Take a look at the picture, does nudging leftwards with Push would mute the first no...

not possible to record drum rack mutes with push, right?
For live performance /arrange recording propose: I like to mute individual drums hits in the playback ("MPC style"). So when you're sequencing your drums with push in a drum rack (with 16 pads and the sequencer), is there a way to mute individuals pads and also record that? Afaik you can m...

Akai MPK249 - note repeat in ableton tight?
hey,
does anyone here have an mpk249 and use it with live? I'm wondering how good the note repeat /arp works since it's clocked via midi. Is it tight?

higher default resolution for lives automation
with default settings live smooths the automation a really big amount. it destroys all critical automation recording like riding the fader. I know that you can change that in the config file with an entry, but I think it really should be the default not to smooth the automation.
