Just took up Ableton on their ProTools / Live deal. Freezes up on my machine when loading up clips. Stutttering audio - got to be killed by Task Manager, and the machine rebooted. I assume we're all seeing the same thing. Very disappointing. My system - Windows XP, P2.6, 1GB RAM. I hope they ...

I'd uninstalled the latest ATI drivers to fix a bug in another application... reinstalling them cured the problem. Oh, well ...

I get the following error when I launch Live :
"A DirectDraw error has ocurred (GetDisplayMode failed)". The application then exits immediately, before displaying the splash screen. Anyone seen anything similar?
