Re: Do Return channels Return WET signal only or the Summ ?…..

typically the signal returning back is the 100% wet processed signal but nothing is stopping you from sending a partially processed signal back as well but best practice is to send process return signals 100% wet and you use a combination of mixer fader/send level and return level to adjust the rat...

Re: Do Return channels Return WET signal only or the Summ ?…..

Hey everyone. So i was wondering. If i send signal from a track to a return track (lets say with a reverb with 100% Wet setting on it) i get a Wet signal i can then blend in with my mix. However, my Question: Is the signal coming back, ONLY the WET signal of the plugin (as in DELTA) ? Or is it SIGN...

Acoustic Drum Sample Pack with good Multitracks and separation Recomendations?

So after once more buying an expensive sample pack only to find out that its full of bleed between drums and consists mainly if busy loops with basically a full drum set mixed already and there are more or less no individual parts as in Kick , Snare etc but rather drum part-loops of the full kit, an...

Re: Anyone can Recognize this synth?

I’m interested in this too. Some of these sounds are almost meme level for this style and for a good number of years. Tipper comes to mind. I have ideas as to how to approach it, but I’m curious if there was a go-to method for this type of sound. I havent heard this sound that many times tbh. It re...

Re: Anyone can Recognize this synth?

I know that a lot of Tipper’s sounds are extreme time stretching and pitch shifting in Logic, it’s not all straight out of a synth. this does not sound like stretching to me. It sounds like pitch bending and some very clean wavetable stuff but i could be wrong. What i mean is that beneath the whole...

Anyone can Recognize this synth?

Hey everyone. So while I was listening to this track by Trois : (the pitch slide synth at 1:00 for example ) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fyo1Vj6aGUU It reminded me of the synth in Om units : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fR2wosmXUL0 . So I thought it must be some specific synth that everyone e...

Re: How do I remove "Click-Transient" sound on every Midi note start in Simpler+Sampler ?

It seems like you already tried the most common options. Are you sure your sample is starting (and ending) at the zero crossing point? Did you try adding a fade at both ends and resample/re-record your sample? Also Simpler/Sampler let's you precisely place their start marker (and you can zoom in th...

How do I remove "Click-Transient" sound on every Midi note start in Simpler+Sampler ?

Good Day everyone! So while I was testing around I thought to ask you fine people in case there is a solution to my "trouble" So i basically have a "pad-y with low end energy- bass sound" synth audio clip of my Minilogue Xd playing a single note and I am trying to make a clean Si...

Re: Any way to reliably list ".als" in chronological order?

i would try trashing the Finder preferences next. after that you need to either relaunch the Finder, or log out and back in again (or restart the computer)... I did all of this. I tried whatever suggestions I could find online. One of them being removing the Prefs etc ... Made no difference. Did Sp...

Re: Any way to reliably list ".als" in chronological order?

Ok so I realized that my Finder has some serious issue I cannot find. The "sort by last opened" or whatever is time related , is all over the place. I performed a Rebuild of Spotlights Index but it did not solve the issue. The app "Find Any File" work correctly and shows things i...

Re: Any way to reliably list ".als" in chronological order?

In your case, if you hit "List after Last Opened". do you get a reliable List where all .als files open in the correct chronological order ? Finder works fine for me for this and other purposes (I listed the exact steps I follow in an earlier reply). I installed a File search app and it w...

Re: Any way to reliably list ".als" in chronological order?

Finder search sorts by "Date Modified" just fine here. the next thing i would try is forcing a rebuild of the Spotlight database for your drive. you could also try an alternative search tool like Find Any File (or any of the other alternatives mentioned at the bottom of that web page): ht...

Re: Any way to reliably list ".als" in chronological order?

What should be visible in the screenshot and what is the aim? Asking cause all I see is a normal finder window and a list of projects so i am wondering what the aim is tbh ? We're just trying to help, and might notice something you've missed. But frankly this is a MacOS issue, not Live, so maybe be...
