Re: Features you would like to see in Ableton 9?

Re: Features you would like to see in Ableton 9?

Talking about the automation in session view again, I was thinking that if they can't do that, then at least make it so that when using envelopes in session, you can move it up instead of only down. Like if I have something set to 20% in the rack and go to use an envelope to bring it up to whatever...

Re: Features you would like to see in Ableton 9?

An infinite sustain like: Electro Harmonix pedal: Freeze.

Not the freeze that exist in the reverb, that just freezes the effect, and is not an infinite sustain.

Re: Features you would like to see in Ableton 9?

I beleive, a Session to Arrangement (and viceversa) kind of translator will be an excelent idea. i.e. If I made a Song in Arrangement, I perform the "translation" function and that could be interpreted into Clips, scenes and following actions. It's hard to have perfect but could save time ...

Re: Dell Studio XPS 1640 - Files skipping in large soundsystems

Thanks Matt.

I just bought a Momentus XT which it's an hybrid SSD, I hope that helps, but I'll experiment a little with the G-Force parameters.

Thanks a lot.

Re: Dell Studio XPS 1640 - Files skipping in large soundsystems

Hi Matt.

That's interesting.

My exact model is:

Dell Studio XPS 1640, Intel core duo @2.8 GHz, I have Windows 7 (x64) and 8GB RAM. As I said I have a Seagate Momentus HDD 500GB @7,200 rpm.

If you find something, please share it with me.

Regards.

Dell Studio XPS 1640 - Files skipping in large soundsystems

The issue is that suddenly when I use it in some huge sound sys...

Re: 8.2.1 CPU usage hitting 100% when it was only 20% in 8.1.5

I have a similar issue.

I tried to change to compatibility mode to Windows XP SP3 and the CPU usage was similar to the one in previous versions.

8.2.1 CPU usage higher than normal

I had Ableton Live (8.2.1) installed on my previous HDD and works just fine I have a set that only gets 12% to 14% of CPU usage. Then I installed again 8.2.1 on my new HDD and I replicate every setting and every ...
