How can a track inspired by Totoro ever not be ultracool?
Seriously, very good and very musical. I personally would like a little bit more low end on the mix, either on the bassline or on the kick.
Otherwise it's super-kawaii!
here's a laid back glittering bling-bling disco tune to keep you partying through this holiday season – no synthesizers used, just the real stuff. Party like it's 1979!
Just a personal preference, like I said! The songs are laid out and mixed so well that I already guessed it was your deliberate decision to let the kick sound exactly this way. So: don't change it, it does everything you intended!
just had a complete listen and really liked it a lot. The field recordings give it an organic feel, and otherwise the tracks are damn well produced and feature a good dramatic buildup (especially EMERGENCE). If I had to find a wee little point I personally may like to change: The Kick on ...
absolutely stunning! Great idea, brought to life very tasteful. I really like the way the old NES Sounds totally blend in with the beat, without getting too housey or techno-ish. Very well balanced! Congratulations and have fun on your upcoming gigs in Seattle! Keep us updated about your CD- or MP3 ...
I found the relationship between synth and drums a bit unbalanced - the synth seems too loud, drums are too much in the background for my taste. I would like so hear the drums louder and punchier, and you could try to integrate the synth line a bit more by using some sidechaining from the ...
Very well and authentically done! This was kind of a flashback to my days of youth, when I grew up with canadian industrial like Skinny Puppy or Frontline Assembly. Thanks for sharing!
A little bump for the easter holidays...
Hope to get a new mix done these days, meanwhile I hope to get some more listeners and comments!
Happy holidays to all of you!
very cool trax man! I like Cobaye a lot (although it has a bit too much sidechaining for my taste) and the other tracks are also great... just put you on my list for the next Beatport shopping spree!
Man, this is some crazy stuff you're producing (in a good way)!
Very unique, lots of variety and made me smile often. Somehow I imagined you doing all of your tracks with Fisher Price instruments (especially during "Finch Dance").
Definitely cool!
