The other option is to go to CompUSA or a computer store and get a store-made PC with all the componenets. Essentially, you're picking the components and you're having the store geeks build the machine for you. Even if ihave one built from scratch i still don't know the specific brand or type of co...

Machinate i am using this strictly for audio production and I am looking for desktop since i already have a multiface hammerfall pci card. So you are saying stay away from dell? I agree.

Simply said, I am trying to multitrack into the arrange window in Live for mixdown, for instance 6 individual tracks with drum sounds from the MPC and and another 6 tracks generated from simpler.

How can I convert all the midi tracks into separate audio tracks in live.

Is it the case that the mpc has several outputs? If so then all you need is a audio interface or soundcard that has multiple inputs and outputs. i reccomend some of the emu systems as they are good, easy to use and come with loads of dsp plugins. Correct me if I'm wrong!!!

I have a Yamaha RM1X that i no longer use, and from what i undestand i can use it as controller if i assign functions such record/play /stop to the rm1 keys and knobs....could this be true. :roll:
