Re: Visual Metronome
Another option is to use your ableton with the audiocubes. By sending midi cc messages from within ableton to midibridge, you can change the colours of the audiocubes. You can also mix colours, change the intensity of the lights of the cubes, etc Here you can read more on how to set up a visual ...

AudioCubes - tangible midi controller compatible w/ Live
Hi all,
I'm a great fan of Live and wanted to tell you about the AudioCubes, world's first MIDI compatible tangible controller, compatible with Live (and max/msp)
The audiocubes are intelligent objects and can generate MIDI triggers/continuous controllers, depending on their spatial relationships ...

live controller!
hi bert,

my main hurdle is finding the materials i'm looking for. one thing i'd like to find is rubber mpc-style ...

hi ryansupak:
I tried the tactex about a year ago. it doesn't matter if it's tactex or some other touch pad. it doesn't make sense because it's not integrated with the user interface. you're touching a surface that doesn't give feedback.
I also didn't like the amount of pressure I had to apply to ...

to touch or not to touch?
hi all,
I think how to interact with Live comes down to the following fundamental question:
do you want to have physical feedback while interacting or not?
Having a multi-touch display might be interesting, but can you really reliably use sliders and rotary knobs and a cross fader on a touch ...

modular controller?
hi all,
concerning the modular controller that has been talked about in this thread: what features would such a system need to offer? would it work like a big analog modular synth? how would the mechanical construction be?
thanks,
bert

Re: Ideas for your ideal Live controller
I totally agree with Yon. There is a need for a midi controller that makes it easy for live users to perform with, instead of another fader box.
