can someone hint to me as how to reinstall drivers for a mac/ibook. seems like they're hidden away somewhere. i wouldnt know where to start.

could it be something to do with the max/msp/pluggo runtime? does anyone know what audio drivers come with an iBook. I could try to find newer ones or reinstall

i have the newest version of osx and an ibook that i got 3 months ago, it has a gig of ram, and it seems to happen on mostly audio apps, but some other ones as well

i think as a basis for my music i've become a lot more interest in processing samples than synthesis and so with the introduction of the freesound project as well as that i'd like to start recording my own field recordings and other odd jobs, rustiling objects around, banging and scratching on ...

yeah i've done the same just experimenting with live by automating phasers, bit reducers, beat repeat, etc but it's just nice to have this at your disposal, mainly for me, for live sets. dance music doesn't go down very well here but people love song deconstruction and beat-fuckery. and it looks ...

perhaps we could even contact tobybear. he has converted a lot of windows vst plugins that the smartelectronix crew made to osx vst/audio unit format for free. that way this wouldn't be entirely on the shoulders of the guy at Glitch and he could maintain the windows version.

i think the device is supposed to be plug n play, i got it second hand. anyone know how i could get osx/ableton to recognize it? i'm sort of at a loss here

anyone want to start a petition/fund to have tonybear or someone port this to osx? i'd do it. i just tried it out on a pc...and it is definitely the best vst of this sort. i like the little step sequencer in it for the effects. its very customizable.
