Im having the same problem with my kotrol x1 rotary encoders and I have scoured the internet, NI forums, and Ableton forums and I cannot find a proper answer.

When I map any of the kontrol x1 (in midi mode of course) endless encoders to any Knob or slider in Live the control behaviour is less than satisfying. You have to crank the encoder over and over again only to have the onscreen knob inch along at tiny increments. The x1's control editor software is ...

I don't own max4live yet but is there anyone here that can say weather or not this kind of action would be possible to create using it? Scroll wheel zooming, that is.

Not that thats a bank of knobs but If I DO find the magical bank of non-endless knobs that vertically line up with the slider on this thing then Ill be a happy man.

Just curious, why do you need non-endless knobs? If it were up to me, I would only have endless rotaries with leds like the BCR or APC40. In essence they are endless in that the light rings start and end where the knobs would have started and ended. Just wondering because I hate pots that aren't en...
