Re: MFL $299 USD
299 usd is like a big slap in the face to all of us loyal users who have been with Live since many previous versions and who have spent thousands of dollars in just upgrades alone. I honestly was expecting the typical 199 upgrade price which I still wouldn't have been stoked on paying. But 299? Able...

Re: Loud POP/Glitches appearing in Mixdowns
Hi Guy's Are you using Dual Screens (Monitors) with your setup, I had this problem for a while, and looked up many times on the internet to see if it was common among muse'os. If you are then it might be the drivers on these or the speed settings between them both. I used to get terible crackles mo...

Re: DRUM RACKS Specifically slow editing to a CRAWL_macpro
i still never hear back on why this is happening. Anybody else noticing this? Take ANY semi long sample, slice to midi, and then try and do ANY type of copy, paste, duplicate edit on it and . Hell, even just try and drag it to some other position on the timeline and tell me it doesn't seemingly Free...

Re: Loud POP/Glitches appearing in Mixdowns
It blows my mind that nobody else is having this problem. With the most current version of Live 8 it is still happening. Also other pitch related issues are occuring as well. Like random samples will play back at a different (usually lower) pitch than their supposed to. Alot of this I have tracked d...

Re: Samples Not Recognized out of AudioFinder? wtf
Thanks Christian. had not even tried those files in Itunes because I always just use osx's spacebar preview for playing audio files and they Do work with that. For anybody else reading this thread What I ended up doing was using soundforge to batch process all of my audiofinder 'auto extracted' samp...

Re: Samples Not Recognized out of AudioFinder? wtf
Hello, Can you send me such a file? Can you open/play these files with other audio applications? Best, Christian Sure. I uploaded 4 random samples to the link below. http://audiovoid.net/abe/audiofinder_slices/ Sorry for not including that info previously. Yes, these files open in any other applica...

Samples Not Recognized out of AudioFinder? wtf
So I spent the last two days throwing long chunks of audio into the program audiofinder and used the auto extract feature to make tons of sounds.
Only thing is that Live thinks they are corrupt, unreadable, or unlicensed files.
uh....why?

Re: FED UP with How Far USB connections Poke Out on controllers
Just thinking this when I saw the video of the multiple Launch pad set up http://www.youtube.com/user/NovationTV#play/uploads/1/ibEMMft6BDY They have to stager them instead of having them squarely side by side- which would look much cooler. Its as if they made them, went to make the video for using...

Re: Echo Indigo IOx (Expresscard Audio Interface)
I still have an old echo Indigo dj (pmc-cia) card in my dated laptop and I've always loved it. The overall output was suprisingly Hot for an 8th inch stereo mini plug. Echo stuff is top notch so I don't doubt that the new express card series is up to par. How far does it poke out of the side of the ...

FED UP with How Far USB connections Poke Out on controllers
Anybody else fed up with how much physical space is wasted in the back (or sometimes on the sides) of almost all commercially available midi controllers on the market today? It just blows my mind that more developers don't take into consideration that many users may not be ONLY using their product (...

Re: Stuff in Live you wish you figured out a long time ago
Here's one i discovered this week. On the clip view for an audio file, above the edit and save buttons there's the file name. If you click it, the browser opens up, in the location of that file. Quite handy sometimes. Really? Awesome. That is infact one small thing I was trying to do recently. I wo...
