All-
I expect this is a very easy question, but I am running Live 32 bit (on Mac) and thinking of moving to 64 bit; in my list of plugins how do I tell which are 64 bit, which 32 bit?
I know that the 64 bit ones aren't recognised by Live 32 but otherwise- different icon? Or?
Thanks-
Rob.

Live 9 Manual contents page
Hi-
The Live 9 manual doesn't appear to have a contents page/ list of chapter headings (Mac 32 bit version anyway).
Does anyone have a copy of the manual with this?
Cheers-

Matt Garrison
The latest issue of "Bass Player" magazine (October 2010) has Matt Garrison on the cover.
In the article he describes how he uses Live in performance- he obviously likes it a lot.

Re: Audiodamage Axon
I have it- and it is a lot of fun and inspiring, especially incorporating feeding the midi to other instruments.
And not like anything else I've ever tried in that it is unpredictable but not random.
Well worth a try I reckon.

Re: Anyone using Pure Data (Pd)?
On the analog industries blog the Audio Damage guy explains how he used Pd to help develop "Axon"- a good advertisement?

Re: Microtonic, V-drums and Live
e-
You have to fiddle around a bit, but it is worth it- the scale plugin lets you set the lowest note and the range. So you have one that does C1 up to, but not including, C2; and another one in series that does what you want with C2.

Hi-
It's the "Scale" plugin you need, not the pitch one. Should work fine.

Re: Akai LPD8 problem
Thanks- your tip is a good one. I didn't need to go the whole hog- I just removed everything else USB (I suspect the BCR2000 was the culprit) and after fiddling it worked. The script now works really well too. Good one support corner... Rob. (PS the Akai pro help was excellent too- ended up with the...

Re: Akai LPD8 problem
Still no luck.
I'm assuming now that this isn't an Ableton Live problem but I'm not sure where to go with it next?

I'll certainly give that a go. Looks like a good script.
I suspect, though, that it is a dreaded Windows drivers problem.

Akai LPD8 problem
Hi- I have searched the forum for this, but perhaps it is too simple a problem... I have bought an Akai LPD8 and installed it on my laptop; but when I start Live it isn't listed in MIDI preferences. I suspect that this isn't a Live problem because it doesn't work with VSTs via MiniHost either. The L...

Re: Best Subtractive Synth VSTi for a Noob?
This is a crazy topic... There is a great deal of fun to be had going to KVRAudio and trying out stuff. There may even be hundreds of free subtractives? As a start- For PC and Mac- Linplug Free Alpha 3 PC only- Synth1, or any of the simpler Novakills and you'll end up with Ableton's Analog, of cours...

Re: Tutorial Videos: Sound Design with Analog - Available Now!
Neometric- Important question, and applicable to many resources for music making nowadays. So firstly, I like supporting anyone who puts lots of effort into educational stuff that I find useful- Nick, the other Covert Operators, Tom Cosm etc etc; and secondly the "follow up" tends to be bu...
